Will have a minimum of 2 county qualifying times, in 2 different strokes; 1 at 50 metres and 1 at a longer distance.
Trial period for swimmers without the entry criteria may be offered at coaches’ discretion. Expected to
swim for Club teams if selected. Expected to enter Counties, Regionals and targeted Open Meets.

No specific Entry Criteria, swimmers swimming mainly for fitness although some may still be selected for club Teams and may enter meets such as Club championships, Open Meets and Masters meets (where over 18.)

Description of Criteria & Expectations
Entry is by trial with Junior Development Coach or by
progression from Alligators squad and acceptance is at coach’s discretion. Swimmers will have almost completed Swim England Stage 7 and must have legal strokes over 25m in Frontcrawl, Backstroke and Breaststroke and be strong over 50m in all 3 strokes. Expected to
enter Club Championships and expected to swim for club teams if selected. Encouraged to Enter level 3 open meets.

ALLIGATORS
Description of Criteria & Expectations
Entry is by trial with Junior Development Coach or trial with Level 2 Teacher in Small Pool Bradford on Avon, dependent upon age and stage attained already. Swimmers work through the Swim England Stages 1 -4, in small pool, and 5-7, in big pool, of the Learn to Swim Framework.
