British Gas Swimming Championships (50m) 2010

Attend the most exciting domestic event in the swimming calendar - tickets are now on sale for the British Gas Swimming Championships (50m) 2010.

The Championships will take place over 6 days, from Monday 29th March to Saturday 3rd April 2010 at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield. Make sure your place is reserved to cheer on Britain's best swimmers who will be battling it out for a place in the team bound for Delhi to take part in the Commonwealth Games in October 2010.

Double Olympic Medallist and Commonwealth Champion Dave Davies is looking forward to the biggest national competition of the year: "Home support is so important to all of us. To see and hear a big crowd at a competition is exciting and pushes us to perform better. When you have people supporting you, you want to swim faster and better. I really hope that at the British Championships we have as many people supporting the sport as possible."

16 & Under club swimmers go for £1

We are offering any swimmers who are 16 & under and a current member of any Swimming Club in the UK the chance to attend the British Championships for just £1 per day! These tickets are limited and subject to availability so book up quickly to avoid disappointed.

In order to take advantage of this discount and for further information you need to email Claire Whitfield at claire.whitfield@swimming.org and you will need to provide the names and membership numbers of all of the swimmers who are eligible for the £1 tickets and which day they would like to attend. Once availability has been confirmed and payment received the tickets will be sent out to the main contact for the club.

So come along and show your support to the swimmers!
