Congratulations Dave!

David

David Sutton, lifeguard and time recorder for our club, completed the Bath Half Marathon in aid of Cancer Research on the 7th March. Please follow the link below for more details and it's not too late to donate.

I ran the Bath Half in 2 hrs 1 min 27 secs, which I was very pleased with. For the last 3 weeks I have been nursing a calf injury which I had hoped would hold up for the race ..... but it didn't, and I had to suffer from 30 minutes onwards !! However, the will to finish, the terrific atmosphere and support of the crowd carried me through. Sponsorship has reached just over £700 so far, so very many thanks again to everyone who has sponsored me, and it is still not too late to do so ! uk.virginmoneygiving.com/DavidSutton Cheers Dave

"On Sunday 7th March, I am running the Bath Half Marathon, raising money for Cancer Research UK. I am running in memory of my Dad, Bernard, who lost his fight against stomach cancer last Easter Monday after a short illness.

Your donations are very much appreciated. Through Virgin Money Giving, you can sponsor me and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities.

Virgin Money Giving is a not for profit organisation and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this. uk.virginmoneygiving.com/DavidSutton

I will also have some sponsorship forms with me at the pool
